Viessmann Climate Solutions launches initiative „Together we power on“
Viessmann Climate Solutions is launching the “Together we power on” initiative as part of International Women's Day 2026. The aim of the initiative is to raise the visibility of women working in the HVAC sector and to highlight the contribution they already make to the performance and future viability of the industry.
Allendorf (Eder), March 9, 2026 – Shortages of skilled workers, demographic change, and increasing demands on energy and climate solutions pose major challenges for the HVAC trade. This makes it all the more important to take advantage of all the potential that exists in the industry. That's exactly where the “Together we power on” initiative from Viessmann Climate Solutions, which was launched on International Women's Day 2026, comes in. Viessmann Climate Solutions is part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.
The focus is on women in the HVAC sector who take on responsibility every day—in the workplace, on the construction site, in planning, or in customer meetings. The aim of the initiative is to make their work more visible and to show the natural contribution that women already make to the performance and future viability of the industry.
Women have been an integral part of many businesses in the HVAC trade for a long time. “Together we power on” focuses not on differences, but on professional competence: practical experience, technical understanding, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team. With Sabrina Hochmuth and Vivien Nowak, the initiative gives a voice to two women from the HVAC trade who provide practical insights into their everyday working lives and highlight the diversity of activities and development opportunities in the HVAC sector.
This is not about differentiation, but about complementarity: different perspectives strengthen teams and companies alike.
The insights from the trade are complemented by voices from top-level sport. National players from FC Bayern Munich and former top biathlete Denise Herrmann-Wick show how important team spirit, trust, and cooperation are for sustainable performance—values that also play a central role in the HVAC industry.
With “Together we power on”, Viessmann Climate Solutions is providing a momentum for exchange, recruitment of young talents, and a strong, sustainable industry. Information about the initiative and the portraits presented can be found now and in the coming weeks at viessmann.de/power-on.
