2 General description of the service
The digital services mentioned in section 1 enable you to
- conveniently arrange appointments for consultations at branch offices at any time via the Internet. You can select the desired service and an available appointment, enter your contact details and receive a confirmation with the option of changing or canceling the appointment. An employee from us or one of our group companies will then contact you by e-mail.
- request a quote using the form. This will be prepared for you by a Viessmann specialist partner arranged by us who can provide the right services for your request. During this process, you will have to answer various questions depending on the type of request, for example about your existing heating installation and the planned project. You will then receive e-mails from us to confirm your data and with information on the further process.
- You can use the system configurator to determine an indicative price for a Viessmann system in a multi-stage, form-based question process and then request further marketing information using a form. This is provided digitally as a brochure and sent by e-mail. You can also use the form to request a brief consultation and referral to a specialist partner. Consent to receive marketing materials and price information is given in the first step after confirmation of your e-mail address, in the second step you provide us with your address so that we can arrange a Viessmann specialist partner in your area for consultation.

The legal requirements result from the Barrier-Free Strengthening Act (BFSG), in particular from Sections 3, 14 BFSG and Annex 3 to the BFSG, with reference to the Ordinance to the Barrier-Free Strengthening Act (BFSGV). According to this, services must be findable, accessible and usable for people with disabilities in the generally accepted manner, without particular difficulty and, in principle, without outside assistance. This means
- Information on the accessibility of the service must be provided and identification, authentication, security and payment functions must be barrier-free.
- In the case of a visual form of operation, a form of operation must be set up that enables use in the absence of or with impaired vision and does not require color differentiation.
- In the case of an auditory form of operation, a form of operation must be set up that enables use in the absence of or with impaired hearing.
- In the case of a form of operation by vocal input, a form of operation must be set up that does not require vocal input.
- In the case of a manual form of operation, a form of operation must be set up that does not require fine motor control or operation and the controls must be within reach of the user.
- Operating modes that trigger photosensitive seizures should be avoided.
- A form of operation must be set up that includes functions that facilitate and simplify use with cognitive impairments.
- The privacy of users when using the accessibility functions must be preserved.
4. status of compatibility with legal requirements
The technical requirements for an offering to be accessible within the meaning of the BFSG and the BFSGV are based on the specifications of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.2. We have designed our digital offering as follows to ensure that our offering is accessible to all people:
The content of our digital offering can be perceived via various forms of operation, so we ensure that our products and services can also be perceived and used by users with physical, sensory or cognitive impairments. The forms of operation we have implemented include
- Multiple sensory channels: We provide text alternatives for visual content.
- Multiple interaction options: Our website can also be used without fine motor control.
- Protection from stimuli/use of contrasts: our website does not use complex interaction effects.
- Simple preparation of our content: Where possible, we use easy-to-understand text to describe our products and services. Technical terms are explained in a practical and understandable way at the appropriate points so that users without specific prior knowledge can also understand the relationships presented.
We do not use identification, authentication, security or payment functions on these websites.
We are continuously working to identify and remove potential barriers.
