Transforming homes into energy systems: Viessmann Climate Solutions and LichtBlick deliver integrated energy solutions
From now on, end customers can benefit from a cooperation between Viessmann Climate Solutions and the energy supplier LichtBlick. Viessmann heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, battery storage units, and wallboxes can be complemented by an power supply contract and energy services from LichtBlick.
Allendorf (Eder)/Hamburg, May 12, 2026 – Generating renewable energy through residential properties to reduce dependence on fossil fuels: For private households, Viessmann Climate Solutions, part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, and the Hamburg-based power supplier LichtBlick are now joining forces. Together, the partners offer a comprehensive energy solution from a single source. The hardware from Viessmann Climate Solutions—including heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, energy storage units, and wallboxes—is complemented by LichtBlick’s power supply contract and energy services. End customers benefit from automated processes that enable price- and consumption-optimized energy management in their own homes.

Intelligent networking through an innovative energy tool
In addition to traditional electricity supply contracts, LichtBlick’s offerings also include metering services and optional energy services such as “StromWallet Dynamic Pro.” The product consists of two components: an AI-powered, intelligent energy management system that automatically determines individual energy needs based on weather data and generation profiles and optimizes energy flows in the household, as well as a dynamic power tariff. This provides power at 15-minute intervals at market prices. This way, the system automatically makes use of favorable times when there is much renewable energy available.
Looking ahead, the company is working to offer additional energy services for private households, such as participation in flexibility markets. Among others, ison GmbH, a subsidiary of the LichtBlick Group, is contributing its expertise to this effort.

The technical system solution, as well as the overarching integration of energy generation, consumption, and storage, are based on Viessmann Climate Solutions’ integrated portfolio and digital platforms.
