Allendorf (Eder)/Nuremberg, Germany, April 14, 2026Viessmann Climate Solutions, as part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is once again be exhibiting at IFH Intherm Nuremberg in Hall 4A, booth 107. The trade fair takes place from April 14 to 17, 2026, and celebrates a special anniversary: “As a long-standing partner of the trade fair in Nuremberg, we are delighted to be exhibiting again and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of IFH Nuremberg together,” says Dominik Schüber, Sales Manager South-East at Viessmann Climate Solutions. For fifty years, the trade fair has impressed with its expertise and has attracted numerous experts and partners from the HVAC sector.

At its booth, Viessmann Climate Solutions showcase, among other highlights, the Stiftung Warentest test winner heat pump Vitocal 250-A (type AWO‑E AC 251.A10 with 10 kW nominal output). In combination with a photovoltaic system, the Vitocharge VX3 battery storage system, a matching wallbox, and intelligent energy management, a building can be operated almost autonomously. The entire system – as well as individual components – can be managed via the ViCare app by both end users and professional partners. Viessmann One Base thus enables an efficient, future-proof overall system. This systemic approach will be brought to life for visitors at the “Climate House” on the IFH Intherm Nuremberg booth.

Another special highlight is the preview of the next heat pump generation from Viessmann Climate Solutions. Visitors can look forward to seeing the new heat pump in camouflage paint before it is launched in autumn 2026.

A teaser of the new Viessmann heat pump generation

During the trade fair, Viessmann Climate Solutions will provide a preview of the expansion of its heat pump portfolio, which will be launched later this year. The new generation is characterized by a compact design, high performance, and flexible installation options. With this new heat pump, Viessmann aims to make its technology, premium quality, and intelligent software for holistic energy management accessible to a wide range of users.

Viessmann installer partners can secure exclusive preliminary information about the new generation by registering at viessmann.de/vitocalXXX.

Vitocal 250-A: Modular system concept for maximum flexibility

In addition to the preview of the next heat pump generation, Viessmann Climate Solutions is also drawing attention with the already available air-to-water heat pump Vitocal 250-A (type AWO‑E AC 251.A10 with 10 kW nominal output). The modular concept of the new indoor units enables complete decoupling of the outdoor and indoor units: every outdoor unit is compatible with every new indoor unit – regardless of output size. This simplifies planning and installation in both new buildings and modernization projects.

Optimized connection spaces, a swiveling component box, and a revised hydraulic interface significantly reduce installation and commissioning times. Additional improvements to the outdoor units include reduced noise emissions and standard integrated fan ring heaters in the AntiFreeze variant. All Vitocal 250-A monoblock heat pumps operate with the natural refrigerant R290 and feature a patented mechanical safety system that functions reliably even in the event of a power outage.

Vitocharge VX3: battery storage with integrated energy management

Manufactured entirely in Europe, the Vitocharge VX3 battery storage system features a modular architecture with graduated performance classes, offering proven technology and maximum operational safety. This enables precise system sizing, while a comprehensive safety concept ensures reliable operation. Thanks to a new cascading function, Vitocharge VX3 can now be used in systems with up to five units, enabling total storage capacities of up to 75 kWh (5 × 15 kWh). This opens new application possibilities, particularly for buildings with higher energy demands, such as large residential properties or small commercial facilities. Additionally, cascading is now also possible in the smaller 4.6 kVA performance class, providing even more flexibility in system planning.
