GdW and Viessmann Deutschland GmbH sign framework agreement
A further step towards the energy transition in the building sector: Viessmann Deutschland GmbH is supporting the 3,000 housing and real estate companies organized in the GdW on their decarbonization path.

Allendorf (Eder), June/10/2024 – A framework agreement was signed between Ingeborg Esser, Managing Director of the Federal Association of German Housing and Real Estate Companies (GdW), and Dr. Frank Voßloh, Managing Director of Viessmann Deutschland GmbH, as part of Real Estate Arena 2024, the northern German trade fair for housing, construction and project planning, which took place at Messe Hannover from June 5-6, 2024. The aim of this agreement is to support the 3,000 housing and real estate companies organized in the GdW on their decarbonization path after the Building Energy Act (Gebäude-Energie-Gesetz, GEG) became effective on January 1, 2024. For example, GdW members will receive preferential conditions for the installation of heat pumps and hybrid systems from the integrated Viessmann solution offering on the basis of the framework agreement.
Heat pump that the housing industry has been waiting for is now available
Of particular interest is the new generation of Viessmann heat pumps from the Vitocal 250-A and Vitocal 150-A series, which already use the natural refrigerant R290 (propane). Accordingly, the latest model, the Vitocal 250-A PRO air/water heat pump with a heat output of around 40 kilowatts and a flow temperature of up to 70 degrees Celsius, attracted a great deal of attention. Numerous trade fair visitors described the appliance as the solution that the housing industry has been urgently waiting for with regard to its performance data.
