This makes commissioning, maintenance, service and monitoring of energy systems much easier and faster. Trade partners not only save a lot of time – their customers also enjoy maximum convenience and energy efficiency as well as the safety of their systems.

Similar to an interconnected ecosystem in nature, Viessmann One Base seamlessly connects products and systems with digital services such as the ViCare app for device operation and the ViGuide (formerly Vitoguide) service tool. For example, Vitoair FS can be readily combined with a Vitocal heat pump. Other on-site power generation components, such as a Vitovolt PV system and a Vitocharge VX3 electricity storage system, can be integrated with ease. The system can then be operated almost completely off the public grid. In doing so, Viessmann is taking another step in line with its mission statement: “We create living space for generations to come.”  

Flexible installation with universal mounting options

With an overall height of just 245 millimeters and an air volume flow rate of up to 300 m³/h, the central ventilation system is the flattest and most compact unit in its class. It is suitable for installation in single-family homes and apartments. The integrated standard enthalpy heat exchanger eliminates the need for a condensate drain. That enables universal mounting options as well as flexible installation – either in a suspended ceiling or on the wall in a utility room. The ventilation ducts can be connected on the right or left. Every Vitoair FS can be operated in automatic mode since it comes with standard integrated temperature and humidity sensors.

Install quickly, simply and reliably with the Click and Go air distribution system

The new Click and Go air distribution system for centralized home ventilation systems makes it particularly easy to lay its piping. The fittings have antibacterial inner walls and are equipped with an integrated seal – the otherwise time-consuming installation of a seal is no longer necessary. A fixing bracket made of stainless spring steel on the fittings ensures a secure hold of the connection point between the fitting and the duct. Separate small parts – such as gaskets and fastening material – are not necessary and therefore do not get lost or forgotten. That allows specialist partners to realize tremendous time savings.

Menu-guided commissioning saves time

Systems can be commissioned very quickly and easily with the ViGuide app. Specialist partners are supported by the intuitive menu-guided system. As an option, specialist partners can allow the homeowner to monitor the system via ViGuide so that malfunctions can be rectified either immediately online or by a quick maintenance visit.

Complete comfort with enthalpy heat exchanger

The enthalpy heat exchanger in the Vitoair FS recovers not only heat but also humidity from the extract air in winter through its special polymer membrane. It thus ensures that the quality of the ambient air is always comfortable and contributes to a sense of well-being. The water vapor molecules contained in the extract air diffuse through the membrane and are absorbed on the supply air side by the incoming outside air. In this way, excessively dry ambient air can be prevented in winter. In summer, the humidity in the outside air is directly released again, which has a positive effect on comfort. Since the polymer membrane prevents the transmission of viruses, mold and bacteria, Vitoair FS is a perfect hygiene solution for optimal room conditions.
