The use of Viessmann technology has enabled the recently opened CAMPO NOVO BUSINESS aparthotel in Stuttgart-Vaihingen to achieve a high level of energy efficiency, setting new standards for sustainable, modern living.
Allendorf, Germany, Nov. 12, 2025 — The CAMPO NOVO BUSINESS aparthotel, which recently opened in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, is setting new standards in energy efficiency and sustainability for modern living with climate solutions from Viessmann. The high-quality apartment building with 259 fully equipped business apartments was built in accordance with the KfW40 standard. The heart of this forward-looking property is an innovative and flexible energy system, which was planned and implemented by Viessmann specialist partner Gebrüder Benzinger GmbH. The overarching control system manages the interaction of various heat generators to ensure economical and sustainable operation. Two Vitocal 200-A PRO air/water heat pumps (129 kW each) extract heat from the outside air and cover the primary basic load for heating and hot water. Two additional Vitobloc 200 gas-fired combined heat and power units (50 kW electrical and 83 kW thermal each) cover the secondary base load. Thanks to combined heat and power generation, the electricity produced by the combined heat and power unit is used directly to operate the heat pumps. For temporary peak loads, especially in cold seasons, a Vitocrossal 300 gas boiler comes into operation. Photovoltaic modules on the roofs produce additional electricity for the building's own consumption.

The aparthotel in Stuttgart-Vaihingen offers a total living space of 6327 m² and is located in the immediate vicinity of the newly built Polaris Office complex. Both properties are architecturally connected.
