Viessmann Climate Solutions presents Thomas Müller on the court: Kick-off for the heat pump offensive!
Viessmann Climate Solutions has been a climate partner of FC Bayern Munich since 2021. The latest joint project in this partnership is a heat pump campaign with soccer legend Thomas Müller. He presents the pioneering climate solution with a mixture of action, humor and fantasy.

The latest project in this partnership is a heat pump campaign with a star cast: soccer legend Thomas Müller presents the pioneering climate solution with a mixture of action, humor and fantasy.

In this advertising spot, Viessmann Climate Solutions relies on a well considered strategy to make heat pumps accessible to a broad audience. The campaign was specially customized for Thomas Müller to present Viessmann's system solutions from a fresh and surprising perspective.
Müller's creative vision
In a fantasy journey through the studio, Thomas Müller takes viewers into his very own advertising world - from dramatic agent scenes and a romantic candlelight dinner with the heat pump to spectacular AI sequences in front of the green screen. The short video constantly switches between Müller's creative vision and the reality on set. The result is an entertaining ad that not only puts Viessmann in the spotlight with a wink, but also charmingly plays with the advertising industry. The highlight: Thomas Müller directed the spot “himself”.
More than just a video
The clip can be seen on FC Bayern's social media channels, by Thomas Müller himself and by Viessmann Climate Solutions. There are also seven eye-catching images and a specially designed landing page including a raffle - also “created” by Thomas Müller, of course.
Some parts of the film, including the anime effects and the grand finale, were realized with the help of artificial intelligence - including a Japanese voice-over part that gives the whole clip a surprising twist. Incidentally, the clip can also be adapted for French, Polish and Dutch.
Hamburg-based creative studio 27km was responsible for the creation, production and post-production of the campaign.
